ABOUT ME

Note: In early 2007 my husband and I separated and I moved back to Washington, DC. I now live in Florida.

I grew up on a brood mare horse farm in Upperville , Virginia, outside of Washington , DC. I graduated from Wellesley College with a B.A. in European History and spent my junior year in Rome, Italy. I also studied at L'Ecole de Cordon Bleu in London. Following a very brief career as a caterer I became a legal secretary and worked for a prestigious law firm in Washington, DC.

Seeking "a change" I moved to San Francisco, California in the fall of 1991. It was there that I began studying Kundalini Yoga and first met my wonderful guru and began my dharma path. Later I met and married French Chef Mickael Boussemart. We made our home first on Russian Hill and later in The Haight.

Over the years I have intensely studied the Tantric Arts including Tantric Kundalini Yoga, Tantric Breathing, Tantric Meditation and Tantric Healing. I continue to be a practicing Vajrayana (Tantric) Buddhist.

In early 2007 my husband and I separated and I moved back to Washington, DC. I now live just off Dupont Circle in Northwest DC.

I am active with the American Friends of the Louvre, and am a very active member of the International Committee for the Rebuilding of the Tuileries, a wing of the Louvre Museum which burned down in 1871. This will allow the Louvre to greatly expand its exhibition space. I am also the editor of the "Hottest Chefs" series of calendars soon to be for sale in a number of US cities. For relaxation, opera continues to feed my soul.

My personal mantra is: Focus ONLY on the good! Focus ONLY on the joy!
